End of Regular Season Poll 1. Swamp Rats (they win head to head over 50% champs) 2.
50% Champs 3. Rowdy 4 ( they win head to head over Pink Ponies 4. Pink Ponies
Week 2 Commentary What a difference a week off makes. Maybe it is something to do with the home
team. To date a home team has not won a wiffle game this season, not even in the exhibition. It was nice to see
the Swamp Rats swinging for the fences again, but it was puzzling to see them go into the bottom of the forth with a big goose
egg on the scoreboard. I think the Pink Ponies would have shut the out had Spanky not brought up to the pitchers that
they were pitching a shut out. Doesn't he realized the pitchers are supposed to be the lonliest poeple in the world
when you get to that point in the game. Anyway, give it up to the Pink Ponies they played a great game even losing a player
in the middle of the season, or maybe now we now where the weak link was... And
what about the number of strike outs? People were wiffing all over the place. Props to the 50% champs as they came
roaring back this past weekend to trounce the Rowdy 4 meaning all teams are now 1-1 going into the last week of
regular season play. Chris tried to kill himself a couple of times, Ashley pulled off a sweet double play by herself, and
the rowdy 4 defense just couldn't catch a ball. Things just got very interesting as the final week of regular season
play brings us to a rematch of the exhibition games. Also, Travis and Boston have stated that they challenge anyone
to a game of no rules pool basketball! Your source for all things
Ttown wiffle...The wiffer
Week 1 Commentary Well it was a beautiful day for wiffle ball. And what about that scoreboard!
Wow, that thing is amazing. Vic and Val really outdid themselves with that...unbelievable. Them two have added
so much to this league since joining last year. They are great. Now on to the play...the home teams struggled
but the second game was quite exciting. The pink ponies almost rallied back to get a victory. The Rowdy 4 got
very lucky with that tag to end the game and get out of a jam after Spanky tried to strike out but did manage to keep the
ponies alive. I wouldn't mind seeing these two teams meet again! The first game unfortunately wasn't as exciting
as somehow The Swamp Rats ended up having 4 girls on their team. I have never in all my life seen so much pansy play
at the plate. That really was disappointing to see. While The 50% Champs were acting like men and swinging for
the fences the guys of the swamp rats were wood chopping like they were trying to help some beavers build a dam. But
what do you expect from a couple of Florida fans. There was talk last year of enacting a "Kevin Peters rule"
to disallow such play from happening but as Kevin Peters was unable to play this year the league thought there was no need
to do. It appears they might want to rethink that position. Now I know some will say if it's in the field of play
then it is within the rules of the game so it is fair but that argument is lost with me. If you are a guy you should
be swinging for the fences and nothing else. Manup...it's Wiffle Ball after all! Hopefully week 2 will bring two
exciting games. From the press box, your man for all things Tigertown

Pre-Season Poll 1. 50% Champs - These guys know how to win. Tfabre and Ashley can just
flat out play the game. Chris knows his way around a wiffle ball field as he has won every award there is to win.
And Adrienne has finally dropped that extra baggage (Boston) so she is ready for a break out season. Look for these
guys to be hoisting the trophy at the end of the season. 2.
Pink Ponies - It will be a challenge for these guys to finish second but I think they has the best chance out of the others
to make it to the finals. Jason has a team that finally supports him and Amanda just may be the missing link to
bring this team to the post-season. Tim will need to loosen the joints up a little out there but I know Val can give
them the motivation to make it through the season. 3. Rowdy
4 - This team might struggle some this year. Though they try hard the pitching of Barbie and Cindy is going to have
to pull them through. Boston's offensive play leaves a lot to be desired from last year. Him and Victor are going
to really need to get the bats hot and go on a run. 4.
Swamp Rats - I know it is hard to believe they are at the bottom of the list but I think their cockiness is going to
ruin it for them. Yes they have two former MVP's in Damien and Monique, Ward runs the bases like he stole something
and Leslie is an Ace pitcher but I think their big head is just going to do them in. I don't know if they can gel
with all the star power they have. The one thing to watch for is if the head ump throws some calls their way, rumor
is him and Leslie have something going on.
