FAQ's
Can I tailgate with Tigertown Mafia? Yes,
provided you enjoy having fun.
What should I bring? Your party hat and whatever you plan on
drinking. Please realize that unlike all other major LSU tailgates we are not a fee based tailgate, meaning we do not
require a membership fee to join the tailgate. You will also at no time have to deal with a panhandler asking for donations
for our tailgate. All people are invited to come to one tailgate or all tailgates. However, we do appreciate
anyone who can bring some food and there is never too much ice, so that is always appreciated as well. Tigertown Mafia
does not have any sponsors as we do not want anyone to have the power to tell us how to tailgate. Therefore putting
on the calibur of party each week that we do can get pricey. So we do hope you can help bring side dishes and snacks,
or if you would like to just make a monetary donation please give that to William as that will be used for gas for the generator.
If you would like more guidance contact someone with the Tigertown Mafia and we can tell you explicitly what we need for that
tailgate.
Where do you tailgate? Directly across Skip Bertman Dr. from the entrance
to the vet school This is between Nicholson and River Road next to the paved parking lot.
Will
I be able to watch other games? Tigertown is not a rookie and the only way we come is correct. There will
be a t.v., sometimes two, with direct tv hooked up to it. The majority rule on what game to watch. But let's
be honest, who really wants to watch a game when there is a massive party happening on the dance floor.
Is
there shade to get out from the sun? Didn't I just tell you the only way we come is correct. Of course
there is shade, we are here to tailgate not bake. We have 7 tents for you to congregate under.
Are fans of visiting teams allowed? Where were your parental figures when you were growing up...didn't
anyone teach you to treat others as you would like to be treated. Of course fans of the visiting teams are invited.
We are here to tailgate, we don't hate the opposing teams just because they wear ugly colors. Yes we do want our
tigers to turn the opposing teams players into a mushy pulp but we wish nothing but good times for their fans. Besides,
we travel to away games and do not like it when people are rude to us so we always welcome the visitors to have a good time
with us. We are more than glad to both show off and share our great tailgate scene.
Are there bathroom
facilities? There are multiple port-o-lets along Skip Bertman Dr. If there is not enough to make you happy
blame it on Skip Bertman.
